At its September 28 meeting, city council followed the recommendation of Planning & Zoning and declined to approve a request for late hour (12-2 am) alcohol sales by Gloria’s Latin Cuisine. The restaurant will be located at the corner of I-45 and Wellman Road which is in close proximity to several residences. However, council’s 5-0 vote did approve their application to sell mixed beverages.
