Dining Out in Shenandoah

By Elliott Shirk

I arrived at Another Broken Egg at noon on November 10th. There were a lot of people, but they were still able to seat my dad and I right away. The waitress gave us our drinks and menus. There was a lot of variety on the menu. They had breakfast, lunch, and even breakfast and lunch combos. There was a big variety of eggs, french toast, and pancakes. For lunch they had all sorts of sandwiches. After about five minutes, the waitress came back to take our orders, I decided to get the buttermilk pancakes, and my dad decided to get a BLT. It was a short wait, only about 15 minutes.

When our food arrived, the waitress gave me some hand-whipped butter to go with my pancakes. After one bite, I immediately said they were delicious. They were the fluffiest pancakes I had ever tasted, and they tasted even better with syrup. They were so good that I finished the whole plate. The waitress gave us the bill and we left. The restaurant is family friendly and perfect for little children. The restaurant was really clean and I enjoyed my time here. If you like going out to eat, Another Broken Egg is a great place to go.
