Construction for Gloria’s® is now underway at Wellman Road and I-45. The restaurant is tentatively scheduled to open in late 2023. It will be Gloria’s 23rd location in Texas and the fourth in the greater Houston area. The 8500 square foot restaurant will bring approximately 65 to 70 jobs to the area.

“Gloria’s Nightlife will continue to be at our Midtown Houston location every Saturday night starting at 11:00p.m. Our new Woodlands location was not designed to have Gloria’s Nightlife, given the size we would need for adding a stage, club lighting, sound system, etc.,” said Brian C. Penrod, VP of Marketing & Communications.

The restaurant group originated in Dallas when Gloria and Jose Fuentes worked at a small Salvadorian eatery owned by Gloria’s sister. When Gloria’s sister decided to leave the business, Gloria and Jose turned their passion for cooking Salvadorian cuisine into what would become a life-long career.
