About 900 hundred people turned out to celebrate the city’s 50th anniversary last Saturday, April 13, in the Woodforest Bank Stadium parking lot. People enjoyed food, drinks, games, and entertainment. Many local businesses sponsored game booths; some hosted silent auctions and gave away prizes. Live music, a car show and bounce houses provided entertainment for all ages. It was fun for the whole family and an amazing commemoration of this beautiful city.
The city posted this video of historic documents that relate to the founding of Shenandoah.
