On March 5, Texans will head to the polls for primary elections. Several local conservative groups have joined together to host candidate forums starting Thursday, January 4 at 6:30 pm. The forums will be held for five consecutive weeks at Grace Woodlands Church on I-45.

 

Candidates have a few minutes to introduce themselves, but the majority of time will be devoted to a question and answer format. Jameson Ellis, who is running against Congressman Dan Crenshaw will speak on January 4, as well as Republican County Chair Bryan Christ and his opponent, Gwen Withrow. Crenshaw had originally accepted the invitation to speak but has since declined to appear.

 

The four remaining forums will feature candidates for State Representative (District 15), Precinct 3 County Commissioner, County Sheriff, 9th District Court of Appeals and Precinct 2 Constable.
